The 11 mukhi rudraksha is an auspicious bead obtained from the elaeocarpus ganitrus plant. This bead can be identified through 11 natural grooves (mukhis) running from top to bottom of the bead. Each groove stands for each rudra manifestation (lord shiva) as per vedas/puranas. It is also called as ekadashi rudraksha/hanuman rudraksha. Keep the bead on a clean altar in front of the Shiva or Hanuman idol. Then chant Om Hreem Hoom Namah or the Hanuman Chalisa mantra 108 times in front of the bead before wearing it for the first time.

• Wear the bead on a Monday morning after bathing. It is best to wear the bead during the Brahma Muhurta (the early morning period)
