1. Wake up before sunrise in the morning and become pure after taking a bath.
2. After this, wear clean clothes and sit down on an appropriate asan facing South.
3. Apply on Cat's Chord or Cat's Naval Chord or Billi Ke Jer or Billi ki Naal one drop of water
and then a drop of wine very gently (no harm to be done to the cat’s chord as it is very brittle) on
the broader part of the Cat’s chord. The items applied should be very less in quantity.
4. Apply 5 molecules of vermillion on the narrow part tip of the chord.
5. Place Cat’s Chord on a plate and show agarbatti, dhoop and diya.
6. Chant the following mantra and salute the cat’s chord. I will send the recording of this mantra.
Falash Pushp Shankasham, Taraka Grah Mahastkam,
Raudram Raudratmakam, Ghoram Tam Pranamahameyam
7. Chant this mantra 108 times.
8. Speak out your wishes loud in front of the cat’s chord every day.
