55. BAGLAMUKHI MAHA VIDYA
Bagala or Bagalamukhi is the eighth Mahavidya in the famous series of the 10 Mahavidyas. She is identified with the second night of courage and is the power or Shakti of cruelty. She is described as the Devi with three eyes, wearing yellow clothes and gems, moon as her diadem, wearing champaka blossoms. The one who is seated on the right of Bagalamukhi is the Maharudra, with one face, who dissolves the universe.
Baglamukhi, the Goddess who seizes the Tongue and enemies. The pulling of the demon's tongue by Bagalamukhi is both unique and significant. Tongue, the organ of speech and taste, is often regarded as a lying entity, concealing what is there inside the mind. The Bible frequently mentions the tongue as an organ of mischief, vanity and deceitfulness. The wrenching of the demon's tongue is therefore symbolic of the Goddess removing what is in essentiality a perpetrator of evil. Three eyes, wearing yellow clothes and gems, moon as her diadem, wearing champaka blossoms, with one hand holding the tongue of an enemy and with the left hand spiking him.
Baglamukhi Shaligram Shila is used for the power and dominance over enemies, competitors and having edge on them. Baglamukhi Shaligram Shila is very powerful and useful for victory over enemies, law suits, success in oretory skills and competitions. The presiding deity goddess Baglamukhi is wholesome present inside this beautiful and mystical Shaligram Shila. This Shaligram Shila is extremely protective in nature and provides extreme protection against Black magic, negativity and Occult forces. The worship of this Shaligram is performed by wearing yellow dress, on preferably yellow asana and yellow flowers and this will generate maximum power with in the devotee and his surroundings and home and his work place. Baglamukhi Shaligram is very effective to ward off the evil effects of souls and brings immense success in speculative business and gambling.
This Shaligram bestows the devotee with longitivity and good health and also offers protection for cuts, scars, accidents, thefts and sudden money losses. Besides providing legal success this Shaligram brings immense peace in the mind of the devotees. While placing this Shaligram Shila in the Altar there is no pran pratishta required. We have already done a Maha Puja of this beautiful Shaligram so straight away after washing with the Ganga Jal, the Shaligram Shila shall be placed at brass plate at puja place or in house temple. The puja be performed after bath. Take the water in right hand, recite the Baglamukhi mantra and sprinkle Ganga Jal water on Shaligram Shila , your all wishes would be fulfilled. The Mantra is as follows:
"Aum Hleem Baglamukhi Sarv Dushtanam Vaacham Mukham Padam Stambhaya Stambhaya Jeevaham Keelay Keelay Buddhim Vinashaya Vinashaya Hleem Aum Swaha"

The Shila has several hands which represents that the Devi is in the Soumya Roopa and blessing the devottes. As per Skanda Purana Baglamukhi the eight Mah Vidya Shaligram Shila is one of the most rare Shila amongst all Shaligram Shilas and blesses the worshipper with very long life and extremely good health. The power of these Shilas as described in Skanda Puran is such that the living beings who are in the vicinity of these Shilas upto 123 Km diameter too get the benefits of these Shilas without even worshipping them. The Baglamukhi Shaligram Shila bestows the devotee with very strong intuition and makes all six senses of the devotee to work with perfection. The worshipper can clearly see the future things happening. This Shila is exceptionally good for the meditation. These Shilas are very cold to touch, full of positive energy and tremendous power, extremely protective in nature, blesses the devotee with extremely peaceful environment, provides immense wordly comfort and takes the devotee to spiritual enlightenment and trascendence.
