We at Shaligram Shala (shaligram.com) perform testing for rudraksha beads by X-Rays, Magnification, Water Dipping and Rotation Between Copper Coins. After testing rudraksh we can find out whether the particular bead is natural or not, the natural or artificial faces of rudraksha beads, weight shape & dimension of rudraksha etc. The X-Ray scan report shows natural seeds inside & natural compartments.

Shaligram Shila Testing Methods

The natural shaligram shila appears near the Kali - Gandaki river. There is a big place near this Gandaki river called Shalagram where this divine shila appears. We perform testing of this Shaligram shila by observing the appearance, marks, colour and much more. It is believed that the color of natural shaligram shila never fades away while contacting water. Therefore we store this shila within water to prove the authenticity of this divine shila.
