Bamboo pearl is an extremely rare item and a genuine one is found with a very great difficulty. Bamboo pearl happens when a shiny yet very solid and hard pearl is formed due to fossilization of small divya pearls inside the hollow portion in the bamboo that has formed over thousands of years.

Puja procedure:

Ingredients for worship procedure of Bamboo Pearl:

Gandaki river water/ gangajal, clean cloth, sandal paste, white flowers, dhoop & agarbatti, sweet, fruits and other eatables, liquor, animal skin of sitting, milk, curd, ghee, honey, coconut water.

- First of all place the Bamboo Pearl on a metal plate of gold or silver or copper.

- Sit on an animal skin facing east.

- Bath the Bamboo Pearl with gandaki river water/ gangajal.

- Do Abhishekam with milk, curd, butter, ghee, honey and coconut water. Apply liquor to clean it thoroughly.

- Wipe it off with clean cloth.

- Apply a tika of sandal paste on the Bamboo Pearl and place a few white flowers on the Bamboo Pearl so at least one flower rests on the Bamboo Pearl nicely.

- Chant the following mantra :

Aum Sharang Kraang Brang Grang Drang prang Bhrang strang dhum dhum aum phat X 3 or 9 times and multiple of 9 times thereafter.

- Show Dhoop/ Agarbatti to Bamboo Pearl.

- Offer some sweets, fruits etc to the Bamboo Pearl.

- Speak out your wish loudly in front of the Bamboo Pearl.

- Keep in the almirah or close to the cash box.
